Sunday

Preparation for Worship 01.07.2018

Refuge our services are a time for us to gather as Christ's bride and worship together as a family. God doesn't ask us to limit our worship to a few hours on Sunday though. Throughout the week we should be worshiping individually and with our friends and families. Let this page be a starting place for you. Below you'll find the songs we'll be singing together the following weekend, as well as the sermon text and some other resources for your reference.

We look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday!

This week we'll be singing the following songs together, they can be found on John Part 2 Playlist

  1. Marvelous Light

  3. Made Alive
  4. Amazing Grace
  5. King of My Heart
  6. Facing A Task Unfinished

This week we'll be continuing our John series with John 3:9-21

Gathering Preparation 04.10.2016

I've been studying the book of Acts for the past few weeks. It's truly an amazing account of not only the work of the early church but, more importantly, the acts of Christ through the spirit. There are many parts of this book that are helpful to our growth as believers and as the church. But one specific part that stands out is Stephen's speech to the high priest, which occurs in Acts 7

I hope you're all doing well this week as you strive to carry out the mission of God in your homes and communities. It's often easy to become discouraged or apathetic about it. Take advantage of the community of Believers God has placed in your life here at Refuge.

Preparation for Worship 03.08.15

As one of your worship leaders I want to start giving you helpful tools for your growth and walk in your Christian faith. One of those tools is this blog. Each week I hope to give you a short devotional to follow that will center itself around the congregational readings for the week and will hopefully help you prepare for Sunday's worship by taking you through the story of the Gospel as found in different biblical contexts.
